Buying a GPS
Posted: May 02, 2009
Jenny and I just signed our lease in Virgina so now that we are getting ready to move and we know we will need to be driving places (vs. taking the metro), we decided we needed a new GPS. We really like out Garmin Nuvi and since Consumer Reports does to, we decided to get anew one.

I recently saw a Nuvi at Costco with free live traffic for life and although i never needed that in San Diego, in D.C., it seems like a good thing. We also wanted a BlueTooth (for phone calls) and I wanted an FM Transmitter (to use the car radio for calls and MP3s). Based on these requirements, it looks like the Garmin Nuvi 760 is for us. It looks like the going rate is $250 or so, but Amazon has it for $209 and free shipping.
So it looks like I'm ordering it through Amazon and if you are thinking about getting a GPS, I recommend clicking on this link and doing the same.
